SPENDING YOUR TAX DOLLARS WISELY

The MRH Board of Education hs worked hard to see that our children are succeeding. This requires making tough financial decisions, including making strategic budget cuts. In the past two years alone, they have cut more than $1.4 million from the annual budgets.

Previous cuts include:

•    After-school clubs at MRH Elementary School
•    MRH Middle School athletics
•    Staff positions and professional development

But, being fiscally responsible is about more than just making cuts. MRH has also partnered with groups like St. Louis University, UMSL, Webster University, and University of Missouri to increase opportunities for our students while reducing expenditures.

MRH has also diligently searched for alternative funding and successfully secured $2.8 million in grant monies.
